The State Duma will consider a draft on the recognition of feminism as an extremist ideology

The project on the recognition of feminism is under consideration by the State Duma commission.

Earlier today, the corresponding initiative was announced by Matveichev himself:

"Almost all feminists in Russia have come out against their own".

He added that feminists are "agents of the West", and their activities contradict the decree of President Vladimir Putin on the support of traditional values. Matveichev made the statement in the program "60 minutes" dedicated to the murder in St. Petersburg military commander Vladlen Tatarsky.

The writer Maria Arbatova has already spoken about the deputy's initiative. She noted that Matveichev simply insulted all Russian women. She compared his proposal with Vladimir Zhirinovsky's call to legalize polygamy.
