As Kommersant writes, citing its sources, PickPoint CEO Nadezhda Romanova said that the departure of Western retailers and the impossibility of financing from a foreign investor led to a decrease in the turnover of the service.
Starting from Tuesday, April 4, the company stopped receiving new cargo from legal entities and citizens. All undelivered and unclaimed goods will be returned from April 6 to April 30. The PickPoint pickup network has about six thousand postamats and 4.5 thousand order pick-up points in 657 localities of the country.
In February of this year, it was reported that the company was experiencing financial difficulties due to a transport shareholder. At the same time, PickPoint stopped accepting applications for sending parcels in a number of Russian cities.
Recall that the company belongs to the Cyprus PickPoint Delivery System Ltd.
