As the newspaper notes, the plane was the first to be sent to this country for repairs. The repair of the aircraft in Iran will be handled by Mahan Air. Their task will be to carry out maintenance of the landing gear racks of the aircraft, the newspaper writes with reference to a source.
The airline commented that the Iranian company has the necessary certificates to carry out these works. They assured that the Iranian contractor will perform the work with a "high level of quality".
Previously, the airline used the services of other companies, in particular, Hong Kong-based HAECO. However, after the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions, some companies refused to continue cooperation.
Recall that in February of this year there were difficulties with aircraft maintenance in Turkey. Then the largest Turkish operator and provider of ground handling services at airports Havas warned contractors about the risks of servicing imported aircraft from Russia.
