"It looks like another hoax, of which there are a lot now, so this is the way to treat such messages", - the presidential press secretary commented. His words are quoted by Interfax.
Earlier on Tuesday, April 11, The Washington Post reported on the leak of a document of American intelligence. It allegedly referred to the order of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to manufacture up to 40,000 missiles and secretly put them in Russia. The order noted that it was necessary to keep this assignment secret in order to avoid possible problems with the West. The source of the publication stated that the US authorities do not know for sure whether these intentions were fulfilled.
The information was commented on by the country's Foreign Minister Ahmed Abu Zeid. He noted that Egypt adheres to the position of neutrality in the conflict on Ukraine. The country intends to maintain "an equal distance with both sides".
