RIA Novosti: an unknown drone damaged the airport fence in Belgorod

"In the afternoon, a drone crashed, the airport fence was slightly damaged", - the source told RIA Novosti.

Information about the victims as a result of the incident was not received. At the moment, the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.

According to the publication "Bel", referring to a number of sources, an unknown UAV flew into the fence and exploded. Specialists are working at the site of the explosion, who have begun to study the wreckage of the drone.

According to the Telegram channel Shot, an airplane-type drone crashed into the fence of the Belgorod airport. An explosive device was installed on it, which detonated when it fell. The source notes that the fence and the alarm cable were damaged in the explosion. It is noted that the International airport of Belgorod named after V. G. Shukhov is located 35 km from the border with Ukraine. At the moment, the facility is not working, which explains the absence of victims and injured.
