Ash is brought from the forest, the ashfall continued at night and on Wednesday morning. The military began to issue medical masks and drinking water to local residents. On April 12, the services will begin clearing villages of a mixture of ash and snow.
On the eve of the eruption, the work of all educational institutions in the north of the peninsula was canceled. Shiveluch is located 440 km from the capital of the region Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and 47 km from the village of Klyuchi.
