Russia notified the United States about the launch of an ICBM from Kapustin Yar

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the American side was notified of the launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile from Kapustin Yar.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Strategic Missile Forces conducted a successful test launch of an ICBM at the Kapustin Yar test site in the Astrakhan region on April 11. The tests were aimed at checking the advanced combat equipment of ICBMs and allowed to confirm the correctness of the schematic design and technical solutions used in the development of new missile systems.

The training warhead of the missile with a given accuracy hit a conditional target at the Sary-Shagan training ground in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The military managed to complete the tasks assigned to them in full.
