Cat of the day! The pawnbroker of drugs used the animal for disguise

This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.

The detainee allegedly walked with her children, one of whom, a baby in a diaper, overalls and a hat, was holding in her arms. Except this kid wasn't real. A resident wrapped a cat in a jumpsuit, hiding a batch of drugs in it as well.

"From the coverall envelope, the police also extracted five bundles with white powder, which turned out to be N-methylephedrone. In addition, the operatives found 12 bookmarks that the detainee managed to make during the day", - Irina Volk said.

As the police established, a resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory came to Nizhny Tagil on behalf of an anonymous coordinator. He pointed her to the place where the drugs were hidden. Her task was to pick up a large batch, pack it in small packages, and then make bookmarks.

To divert suspicion from herself, the resident pretended to be walking with children, Irina Volk explained.

The suspect was detained red-handed at a dacha village on the outskirts of the city. During searches at her house, electronic scales, materials for packing drugs and bundles with a prohibited substance were found. Now she faces a criminal case under the article on the sale of a large batch of drugs. She's in custody.
