Unknown persons spilled a red liquid with a pungent chemical smell near the Belgorod village

The incident occurred near the village of Kazatskoye. According to the head of the district, a puddle with an unknown substance was localized.

"We are now waiting for the results of the tests in order to assess the damage. But first of all I want to reassure you — there is no danger to the population", - Ms. Kutashova said during a live broadcast on VKontakte.

According to her, the police are establishing why this puddle appeared near the village. The area where the "red lake" was found is cordoned off by the police.

Earlier, villagers complained about the appearance of a puddle with an incomprehensible liquid in the region. According to them, the liquid was bright in color. There was a sharp chemical smell coming from her.

Later it became known that red puddles were noticed not only near the village of Kazatskoye. "A similar one appeared in the village of Krasnoye in the Krasnensky district. Its nature is also still unknown", - the local news "Bel.ru agency" notes.
