A gang member who robbed businessmen for 20 years was arrested in Primorye

As reported by Vostok-Media, Shanov joined a gang organized by a resident of the Khasansky district for a subsequent attack on citizens. Subsequently, he began to extort money and a car worth over a million rubles from one of the Primorsky businessmen. The damage was estimated at 2.5 million rubles. The prosecutor's office has started checking what happened. Khasanovets traded in the period from 2013 to 2015.

On April 14, the court decided to choose a preventive measure for him in the form of detention for a period of 1 month and 15 days. The investigation of the case continues. The organizer and the gang member face punishment according to Article 209 of the Criminal Code (creation and participation in a gang, with the aim of attacking citizens), part 3 of Article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (extortion on a particularly large scale).

For two decades, the Khasan gang in the Primorsky Territory has been robbing local entrepreneurs. By extortion, the dealers explained a kind of "security" for merchants. Moreover, criminals staged armed robberies, seized the property of Far Easterners and entire organizations. They even have attempted murders.

Recall that on the eve of the court arrested police officers and residents of Rostov-on-Don, who since 2015 they have been collecting bribes from businessmen. In total, 23 people were arrested in this case for two months. The criminal group was led by the former deputy head of the police for the protection of public Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Rostov region Dmitry Rybalko.
