The Moscow Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will check Igor Strelkov on discrediting the Russian army

In relation to the former head of the Ministry of Defense of the Donetsk People's Republic, Igor Strelkov (Girkin), the Moscow Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will conduct a check on discrediting the Russian army. This is reported by the tg channel Mash.

According to the prosecutor's office, on March 20, he posted a video on social networks in which he insulted the Russian authorities, and also accused the Russian leadership that military operations did not begin in 2014. The prosecutors also draw attention to the possible fraud of Girkin and the "Club of Angry Patriots", in which he, allegedly together with his wife, received money for the needs of special operations, but did not report on their use.

An investigative check will also be conducted in St. Petersburg on the complaint of a resident of Novosibirsk, who complained about Igor Strelkov's streams. In December 2022, the former head of the DPR Defense Ministry reported an unsuccessful attempt to participate in a special operation in Ukraine. He stated that he arrived in the DPR in October, where he joined the motorized rifle brigade of the first corps of the People's Militia, but later it turned out that his entry was not agreed.

Last October, Strelkov confirmed that he had been on the contact line since October 14. His wife Miroslava Reginskaya published a joint photo on Vkontakte, in which Strelkov is dressed in a military pea jacket without chevrons. Military commander Vladlen Tatarsky (died in the terrorist attack on April 2 in St. Petersburg) reported on October 15 that the absence of posts in Igor Strelkov's channel was due to the fact that he had achieved his dispatch to the contact line.
