365 people were injured.

According to Reuters, citing data from the Sudanese trade union, 97 civilians were killed in clashes in the African Republic. Before that, WHO reported 83 victims of clashes in Sudan.

The situation in the country has worsened due to disagreements between the Rapid Reaction Forces and the army. The first fights between representatives of the structures began in the capital - Khartoum, then spread to other regions. Military equipment, including tanks and aircraft, were involved in the clashes. The Army and the General Security Service called the Rapid Reaction Forces rebels. They were accused of attacking strategic facilities. The head of the Transitional Sovereign Council of Sudan and the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Abdel Fattah Burhan, signed a decree on the disbandment of the Rapid Reaction Forces.

Recall that the outcome of the transition period in Sudan was expected to be elections and the removal of the military from power. The main disagreements are related to the timing of the introduction of Rapid Reaction Forces into the regular army. In addition, it has not yet been decided who will become the commander-in-chief of the armed forces.
