Armed forces of Ukraine struck the Chongarsky bridge in Crimea (PHOTO)

According to the head of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, the strike was carried out by Storm Shadow missiles.

«We are able to repair bridges quickly: the passage of cars will be restored very soon», — the official said.

The balance explained that the road surface was damaged on the bridges. The movement of vehicles between the Kherson region and the Crimea had to be temporarily organized along a backup route. There are no civilian casualties.

Data on the impact on the Chongarsky Bridge was also confirmed by the head of the Crimea, Sergey Aksenov.

«At the moment, explosives experts are conducting an examination to assess the type of ammunition. Specialized services have begun to survey the roadway. The possibility of movement will be reported within an hour», — RBC quotes Aksenov as saying.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergey Shoigu, warned that the department has data on Kiev's intention to use NATO Storm Shadow missiles to strike Russian territory.
