The first Deputy Chief of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Vladimir Alekseev, addressed the soldiers of the Wagner PMCs. He reminded them that they fought together in 2014-2015 and are fighting together now.

«Such things, which you have now begun to implement, will lead to huge losses, primarily political», — the general said. He called Prigozhin's speech a stab in the back of the country.

Today, the head of the Wagner PMCs, Yevgeny Prigozhin, accused Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff Gerasimov of giving the order to open fire on their own, which killed the Wagnerians. In response, Prigozhin called on the Wagnerians to avenge the death of their comrades. The Russian authorities called the calls a mutiny. The Prosecutor General's Office has already announced that Prigozhin faces from 12 to 20 years in prison. The FSB called on the Wagnerians not to carry out criminal orders and arrest Prigozhin.
