More than 20 flights were delayed and canceled at Moscow airports

In total, 18 flights were delayed to Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo, and four more were canceled.

Seven flights to Domodedovo were delayed, three more were canceled. Five flights were delayed in Sheremetyevo. There is no data on cancellations. The reasons for the incident are not specified.

Earlier it was reported about the introduction of a counter-terrorist operation mode in the capital and a number of Russian regions. The operation involved the closure of roads and the mass cancellation of public transport flights in a number of regions of the country.

The counter-terrorist operation mode was introduced in connection with the beginning of the armed campaign of the Wagner PMCs on Moscow. It was announced on the night of June 23-24. In less than a day, the Wagnerians, who have at their disposal more than 1,000 units of military equipment, occupied Rostov, entered the Voronezh region, swept away the cordons and reached the Lipetsk region, not reaching only 200 km to Moscow. For safety reasons, civilian vessels were ordered to fly around not only Voronezh, but also Lipetsk region. The military mutiny caused panic in the country, the prices of air tickets soared.

By the evening of June 24, thanks to the negotiations held between the founder of the Wagner PMC, entrepreneur Yevgeny Prigozhin, and the Russian authorities, through the mediation of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, the forces of the PMC were stopped and deployed to the southern field camps.

After that, the counter-terrorist operation mode was canceled. After that, air ticket prices began to decline.
