70 children were poisoned in the Amur camp «White Mountains»

Approximately 70 children vacationing in the children's camp «White Mountains» in the Bureysky district of the Amur region turned to medical staff with symptoms of poisoning. Now the regional prosecutor's office is checking the incident.

«The prosecutor's office of the Bureysky district has begun checking on cases of poisoning of minors in the children's camp „White Mountains“. According to preliminary information, about 70 children went to the medical center with complaints of abdominal pain and vomiting», — the supervisory authority said.

At the moment, the reason has not been established — specialists are busy clarifying it. The prosecutor of the Bureysky district arrived at the scene. After the inspection, measures will be taken by the prosecutor's office if the grounds for this are found.

Now 275 minors live in the camp. It should be noted that this children's camp is the largest in the region, it accommodates over a thousand children.

Earlier this week in Omsk, 19 handball students from Novokuznetsk aged 11 to 17 had to be taken to the clinic with poisoning. All of them arrived in the city for the competition.
