Defense Ministry: five Ukrainian drones were shot down in New Moscow

According to the Ministry of Defense, on July 4, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack on objects located on the territory of the Moscow Region and New Moscow was prevented.

Four unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed with the help of air defense systems on the territory of New Moscow. Another drone was neutralized with the help of electronic warfare and fell on the territory of the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region.

The Telegram channel of the defense ministry reports that as a result of the prevented terrorist attack, there were no casualties and destruction.

«Today, another attempt was made to attack Ukrainian drones in New Moscow and the Moscow region. At the moment, the attacks are repelled by air defense forces, all detected UAVs have been eliminated,» Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin wrote in his telegram channel.

On Tuesday morning, it became known about two downed aircraft-type drones in New Moscow and another one in the Kaluga Region. They were neutralized by means of electronic warfare. Rosaviation imposed restrictions on flights to Vnukovo, flights had to be redirected to alternate airfields.
