An air defense system has been activated over Belgorod and the Belgorod region

The air defense system (air defense) worked over the territory of Belgorod and the Belgorod region. This was announced on Tuesday evening by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel:

«Our air defenses worked over Belgorod and the Belgorod region. Operational services are currently clarifying possible consequences on the ground».

According to preliminary data, there is no information about the victims and damages yet.

Local residents reported the sounds of explosions over the city. According to eyewitnesses, the sounds were so loud that the car alarm went off.

On the eve of the evening, the village of Novostroevka-the Second Grayvoronsky district was also subjected to mortar fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, 126 shells from mortars and artillery were fired on the territory of the region on July 3. In addition, explosive devices were dropped from drones.
