An oil stain was found at the crash site of the MiG-31 fighter in Kamchatka

As a result of the crash of the MiG-31 fighter jet in Kamchatka, an oil stain was found in the water. The accident occurred last night, it has not yet been possible to find a crew consisting of two pilots.

According to the telegram channel SHOT, the alleged area of the fall is located off the east coast in the waters of the Avacha Bay. The spot could have formed after the plane fell into the water.

The MiG-31 performed a training flight without ammunition. The search for the fighter was carried out with the help of military and civil aviation, and currently rescue vessels are heading to a possible crash site.
