The head of the military administration of the Lvov region Maxim Kozitsky reported damage to a critical infrastructure facility in the city of Lvov. He provided this information on Thursday, July 6.
In his Telegram channel, he also mentioned the incident of a fire in one of the apartment buildings, which was promptly extinguished.
Earlier in the day, the Ukrainian TV channel TSN reported several explosions that occurred in Lviv and the Ternopil region. Local authorities explained this by the work of air defense systems (air defense).
In response to these events, an air alert was issued throughout the country. However, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation did not provide comments on this.
In recent days, warning systems have worked in several regions of Ukraine, including Mykolaiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Sumy, Odessa, Kirovograd and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Sirens were also heard in some areas of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, which are under the control of Kiev.
