The Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Army General Valery Gerasimov, tasked the commanders to organize systematic work to identify the storage sites of Ukrainian weapons, as well as the launch positions of S-200 missiles and other strike weapons and plan their destruction.

He gave such an order after the report of the Chief of the general Staff of the Russian Aerospace Forces Viktor Afzalov. The report said that the Kiev regime had previously tried to hit the facilities in Crimea, Rostov and Kaluga regions with S-200 missiles.

Two missiles that attacked the Kerch transport crossing and the Morozovsk airfield were destroyed with the help of air defense systems, two more that tried to strike the Shaikovka airfield in the Kaluga region were destroyed with the help of electronic warfare. The last rockets crashed near the village of Bytosh. No one was injured.

The Chief of the General Staff called for measures to improve the protection of facilities from air strikes as soon as possible.
