Five passengers in a balloon were stuck on a high-voltage line in the area of the Lipetsk Special Economic Zone. Due to contact with the wires, the ball caught fire. It is previously known that none of the passengers were injured. There were no children in the group of balloonists.
Operational services had to turn off electricity on the high-voltage line. The balloon passengers liquidated the fire on their own.
Now all the balloonists have been lowered to the ground, they are safe. The regional government clarified that the power outage on the line did not entail a power outage in homes, since the line is in transit.
It's worth reminding that in the spring in the Mexican state of Mexico, a balloon caught fire over the archaeological zone of Teotihuacan immediately after takeoff. At least two people died in the fire, those who jumped to the ground survived.
