The Defense Ministry commented on the attack of a Ukrainian drone in the Moscow region

The Russian Defense Ministry has officially announced that a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down in the Moscow region. As a result of what happened, there are no victims, no permits.

«This morning, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle on objects in the Moscow region was stopped. The UAV was destroyed by air defense means», — the defense ministry informed.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that on the night of Friday, July 28, an enemy drone attack was launched on the capital, but it was successfully repelled. It was not specified which objects could become the target of the UAV.

Last week, two drones fell in the metropolitan areas of ZIL and Khamovniki. The townspeople said that they heard the sounds of explosions on the upper floors of an uninhabited building. There were no casualties, both devices were suppressed by electronic warfare.
