In the Belgorod region, the air defense system shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle of an airplane type, the head of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov said. The incident happened on the night of August 3 in the Belgorod region and Yakovlevsky city district. Currently, operational services are clarifying information about the consequences on the ground. There were no casualties. No damage was recorded on the ground.

On the eve of the evening, we recall that the APU damaged a power line with mortar fire on Oktyabrskaya Street in the village of Vyazove in Krasnoyaruzhsky district of the region. Three 120 mm shells landed in a settlement located just 1.5 km from the border. The shelling was carried out from the village of Popovka, located in the Sumy region of Ukraine, just 500 meters from the border.
