Three children were injured as a result of an electric scooter fire in an apartment in Moscow. This information was transmitted by the emergency services to the TASS news agency.

A source in the services reported that «the electric scooter caught fire in an apartment located on Minskaya Street, 1g, building 1.» At the time of the fire, there were five people inside the room, including three children. The fire was quickly extinguished, and three injured children were hospitalized.

By the way, the traffic police indicated that the number of accidents involving electric scooters and other means of individual mobility has increased by almost 60%. Since March 1, changes to the rules of the road have come into force in the country, which equated electric scooters to means of individual mobility. The speed of movement on them was limited to 25 kilometers per hour, and driving rules were also established.
