Another attempt of Ukrainian drone to attack Moscow region was stopped in the Ruzsky district

In the Ruzsky district of the Moscow region, an attempt to attack an unmanned aerial vehicle was stopped. This was told in the Russian Ministry of Defense:

«On August 21, at about 06:50 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kiev regime to commit a terrorist attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle of an airplane type was stopped. The Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was detected by the air defense forces on duty over the territory of the Moscow region and suppressed by means of electronic warfare.»

The drone lost control near Pokrovsky in Odintsovo district. It is clarified that there were no casualties as a result of the incident. Vnukovo airport imposed restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft, RIA Novosti writes. Some flights were diverted to other airports.

The day before, we recall, the military in the Moscow region found an unmanned aerial vehicle flying to the capital. They shot it down using air defense systems. At the same time, for security reasons, it was decided to temporarily close the capital's Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports.

Before that night, a drone bombed a train station in Kursk. The roof was significantly damaged, and destruction was also observed on the platform and in the pedestrian tunnel. Five people suffered from shrapnel wounds.
