Employees of the British retailer Marks & Spencer, in an interview with RIA Novosti, said that the company's stores in Moscow would not work until the New Year. The interlocutors of the agency specified that now there is a sale of warehouse stocks.

“The stores will be closed until the New Year for sure, we don’t know the specific date, but not later”, - said one of the network employees in Moscow shopping centers (quoted by RIA Novosti ).

Interlocutors in other stores confirmed this information to the publication. They also clarified that "new collections are old shipments stored in warehouses, there are no deliveries". The company's website states that the online store has ceased operations in Russia since September 30.

“Orders placed before this date will be delivered subject to availability. Calls to the central office phone for online orders are not processed”, - the message on the website says.

Marks & Spencer announced the suspension of deliveries of goods to Russia on March 4. At the end of May, the retailer announced its decision to withdraw from the Russian market.
