The head of the Human Rights Council under the President of the Russian Federation Valery Fadeyev asked Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin to remove signs in the Uzbek and Tajik languages that are installed at the metro stations Prokshino and Lesoparkovaya.

Buses run from these metro stations to the Sakharovo migration center.

"Instead of a policy of integrating migrants into society and local culture, we create all the conditions for a comfortable stay of visitors without knowledge and command of the Russian language", - Valery Fadeyev quotes in his letter to the mayor of the city words from the appeal of local residents.

According to Valery Fadeev, the placement of signs in the national languages of migrants contradicts the law "On the State Language of the Russian Federation". In addition, this goes against the requirement for knowledge of the Russian language, which are presented to visitors.

It should be reminded that signs in three languages appeared at the metro stations in September this year. The press service of the Moscow metro then explained that this was done for the convenience of visitors who go to the migration center for paperwork.
