Question of the day from Deputy Yashin to Mayor Sobyanin: why Moscow's budget is cracking?

The Moscow authorities even during the quarantine regime do not hesitate to change the paving slabs on the streets

The politician and municipal deputy, Ilya Yashin, published on his blog another appeal to the Mayor of Moscow, Sobyanin:

“Sergey Semyonovich, hello!

You know, there is such a Russian proverb: to some war is hell, to others - a kindly mother.

There is an epidemic in the country - people are sitting at home, many were left without work, money is running out. It seems to be a good time to help citizens?

But no: you explained that the Moscow City Duma does not have such an opportunity. They said that the budget could crack.

My question is: will the physiognomy of your deputy for housing and communal services Petr Biryukov crack?

A year ago I posted a video shot at the metro line Chistye Prudy. The paving slabs totally “floated” there.

It simply was in a whirl and threatened the passersby: in order not to stumble, it was necessary to lay your route as carefully as possible.

The video was watched by almost 1 million people and obviously it was noticed at Moscow City Duma too. I really don’t know if you yourself ordered or someone from your subordinates, but soon teams of workers appeared on the square and by summer they brought the paving slabs back to normal.

And today this site was dug up again and the workers once again began to change the recently laid expensive paving slab. I don’t understand, what were you counting on? That no one will notice this? Or what?..

How does it happen, Mr. Mayor?..

Ilya Yashin, Head of the Krasnoselsky municipal district.

PS. I inform you that I sent a request to the prosecutor's office on the fact of the commencement of these works in the area of Chistye Prudy."
