Heavy snow is expected from February 11 in Moscow, which will last until the end of the week, warned Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center.

He specified that up to 30 mm of precipitation will fall on the capital within three days.

"Heavy snowfall starts on Thursday afternoon and lasts until February 13-14. The amount of snow will be huge, it will go incessantly. A real snow collapse, which has not happened for several years. In 2018, from February 3 to 5, there was a similar situation - more than 45 mm of precipitation fell in three days", - said the TASS forecaster.

It's worth reminding that earlier Vilfand had already warned Muscovites that they should not expect warming in the city.
