From May 14, heating will be turned off in the capital, said Petr Biryukov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Public Utilities and Improvement. The end of the season will take three days and will take place in stages.

"In connection with the establishment of the required outdoor temperatures on Saturday, May 14, we will begin a smooth transfer of the city's heat supply systems to the summer mode of operation", - the owl of the capital official leads RIA Novosti.

More than 74,000 buildings will have to be disconnected from heating, 34,000 of them are residential buildings. First, industrial and administrative facilities will be shut down, then residential buildings, schools, preschool and medical institutions. After that, activities will begin to prepare heating networks for the next autumn-winter season.

It's worth reminding that at the beginning of the week it became known about the extension of the heating season in the capital. Usually, centralized heating in Moscow is turned off in early May - provided that during the week the average daily air temperature does not fall below 8 degrees.
