Most cases of the disease, after the capital, were detected in the Moscow region, where over the last day the disease was confirmed in another 1.2 thousand people. In St. Petersburg, coronavirus was detected in 970 patients.

Among Russian regions, a high increase in the number of cases is observed in Buryatia, where 223 new cases were detected per day, as well as in the Nizhny Novgorod region, where the coronavirus was confirmed in 218 residents of the region.

Over the past day, according to the headquarters, another 453 people have died, since the beginning of the epidemic - 128.4 thousand patients.
