The MFC and car sharing will partially resume work in Moscow next week. However, the pass control system will still remain, and workers will not be able to return to the offices.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that the capital is switching to the first stage of mitigating anticornavirus restrictions.

- The number of detected cases of infection has begun to decline. After recovery, more people are discharged from hospitals than re-enrolled in beds. I believe that in these conditions we can continue the gradual "opening" of the economy and the resumption of the work of urban organizations, "said Sobyanin, adding that Moscow" managed to avoid the worst-case scenarios for the development of a pandemic".

From Monday, May 25, the MFC will partially work in the city. Only 88 multifunctional centers will be opened, located in the most densely populated areas. To visit them, you will need to pre-register. All employees and visitors must wear masks and gloves at the MFC.

“Muscovites will be able to get 150 different services - only those that cannot be issued electronically”, - Sobyanin said.

From the same day, car sharing will resume. However, the car can be rented for a period of not less than five days. In addition, it is necessary to observe a number of conditions, for example, to obtain a digital pass for moving around the city, and it will be possible to transfer the car to another user only after the mandatory disinfection of the car. Take the car, as before, for one trip, until it works.

With the first step of relaxing quarantine, new restrictions will come. From May 25, Muscovites are ordered to wear masks and gloves at railway stations and platforms. In addition, from May 27, it will not be possible to move around Moscow through Moscow passes. It will be necessary to issue only metropolitan digital passes.

As for workers who switched to telecommuting, they will have to maintain this mode for now. According to the mayor, it is too early to return to the offices.

We recall that the holiday regime began to operate on March 30. Beginning May 12, on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, local authorities made decisions to remove restrictions on the operation of enterprises in the regions.

To date, the total number of coronavirus infected in the capital has reached 155.2 thousand. Over the past day, 2913 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified. On May 20, Moscow authorities stated that the growth rate of detected cases - 2699 - fell to the level of a month ago. Sobyanin pointed out that this "can be viewed both from a positive point of view and as alarming figures."
