Photo of Paul McCartney with the Ukrainian flag went viral in social networks

Paul McCartney posted on his Twitter a photo from a concert in 2008, held on the Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kiev.

In the caption under the image, in which he is waving the Ukrainian flag from the stage, the musician wrote what he thinks about his friends in these difficult days for them. The photo quickly went viral on social media.

A little earlier, other music stars announced their support for Ukraine, including Elton John, Mick Jagger, Axl Rose, Brian May, and Boris Grebenshchikov posted a video in which he called what was happening insane.
