The Theatergoer Star award ceremony can be seen live today

At the ceremony, which will begin at 20:00, the results of the final stage of Internet voting will be summed up and the names of the winners of the 15th anniversary "Theater Stars" will be announced.

Anyone can become a spectator of the ceremony and one of the first to see who was chosen by the people's jury - an audience of thousands of theater lovers from all over the world - this year anyone can. To do this, it is enough to join the live broadcast of the awards ceremony, which will be held on the website of the Teatral magazine and in its social networks, as well as in the VKontakte group of the TASS news agency, on the YouTube channel of the MIR TV channel and other information resources.

Throughout the theatrical season, the audience participated in the selection of the Prize winners. Nominating and then supporting with their votes the applicants in personal and group nominations, they determined the finalists of the anniversary ceremony. There are 54 candidates in 18 nominations in the short list. Among them are Maxim Averin, Victoria Isakova, Evgeny Tsyganov, Olga Lerman, Yuri Chursin, Maryana Spivak, Viktor Dobronravov, Anastasia Stotskaya, Pavel Derevyanko, Daria Moroz, Igor Petrenko, Alisa Freindlich, Dmitry Chebotarev, Liza Yankovskaya, as well as performances by Alexei Frandetti , Marina Brusnikina, Yegor Peregudov and other theater directors.

On December 5, well-known theatrical figures not only from Moscow and St. Petersburg, but also from Tyumen, Yaroslavl, Perm, Novosibirsk, Khabarovsk, Chelyabinsk, Voronezh, Vladimir and even the village of Leo Tolstoy will meet within the walls of the Vakhtangov Theater. The ceremony will also be attended by heads of Russian-speaking theaters from Italy, Armenia and Kazakhstan .

The gala evening will not be complete without the finalists of a special nomination established by the "Theater-goer's Star" specifically in the Year of the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia. For the first time, the Directorate of the Prize invited the audience to choose the best among the national theaters. Teams from Buryatia (Buryat National Song and Dance Theater "Baikal", Ulan-Ude), Karelia (National Theater of Karelia, Petrozavodsk) and Tatarstan (Tatar Theater named after Kamal, Kazan) claim to win in this nomination.

“This year, a lot of finalists from the regions are going to attend our ceremony, which we are incredibly happy about. The jubilee "Star of the Theatergoer" will be able to unite cultural figures from different cities of Russia and thus become a real center of attraction for art, beauty and experience. Providing dialogues, “bridges” between the teams, as well as between the professional and spectator communities – this is our task”, - say the organizers of the event.

The guests of the gala evening "Stars of the Theatergoer" will also be honored figures of Russian art, noted in the special category "Legend of the Stage". This year this award was given to the People's Artists Alexander Kalyagin, Natalya Tenyakova and Alexander Filippenko.
