Eurovision final replaced by online concert “Europe Lights the Light”
Artists from 41 countries who were supposed to take part in the main European song contest performed together Love Shine a Light remotely, each in their own city. The next Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Rotterdam.

- For the first time in history there is no competition, and instead of it, unique cooperation is at a distance, but still we are together. We proudly present: the musicians of "Eurovision 2020" with the song Love Shine a Light, - announced hosts of the show Ian Smith and Edsilia Rombli.
This song was performed by British participants and winners of the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest Katrina and the Waves.
Russian musicians Little Big, who were supposed to compete this year, admitted that although they regret the situation with the pandemic, they believe that this can unite the countries of the world.
“We believe that this will be a big step towards the unification of the world and the concept of nationalities will give way to the concept of humanity,” said Ilya Prusikin and Sofya Tayurskaya.
Note that the video for the song that the musicians were supposed to present at the contest, Uno, became the most popular at Eurovision, collecting over 95 million views.
