Yuan is not ours? China imposes restrictions for Russians on transfers in this currency

According to statistics, the Russians have spent 370 billion rubles on the purchase of foreign currency since the beginning of this year. Including, during the special operation, individuals bought dollars and euros for 230.1 billion rubles, and yuan for 139.6 billion rubles. At the same time, experts strongly recommended that Russians transfer funds in yuan, citing restrictions on dollar and euro payments, since Western currencies were recognized as "unfriendly". However, recently there was evidence that China began to restrict the Russians currency transfers in yuan.

For example, from November 28, foreign currency transfers in Chinese currency to BCS Bank clients are possible only in cases of transfer to their accounts (to oneself), to pay for studies (if there is an agreement) and to pay for medical services (if there is an agreement). In any other cases, transfers in RMB to citizens of the Russian Federation are prohibited by the Chinese authorities. The reason for such restrictions is still unknown, but this situation cannot but disturb the citizens of Russia.
