Gas futures in Europe hit a new all-time high, exceeding $3,000 per 1,000 cubic meters.

Such data follows from the results of the ICE exchange. Gas sold in April on the NNF index at the start of trading was sold at $2,366.8 per thousand cubic meters. A few minutes later, the price rose to $2,500, and then completely overcame the $2,700 mark.

The fever of the European gas market has been observed for several months in a row. Last year, let us recall, in the spring prices varied at the level of $250-300 per thousand cubic meters.

Earlier, analysts noted that in the case of the most negative scenario - the refusal of Russian gas for the next heating season - the price will exceed $ 3,000 per thousand "cubes", and there will be no further restrictions.

Meanwhile, Germany is preparing for a cold winter without Russian gas.
