According to " Kommersant ", now the capital's car dealerships sell cars on credit at significantly increased rates. For the basic version of Hyundai Solaris, they ask from 1.5 to 2 million rubles. When buying a car on credit for 5 years, the amount of payment will be from 26 to 50 thousand rubles per month.
“Loan rates for the new Hyundai Solaris are offered in the range of 19-33%, and experts note that this is not the limit,” the report says.
Experts see the reasons for what happened in a sharp rise in the cost of both cars and the loans themselves.
In some salons, with the start of the special operation, customers tried to get loans at the old rates, but already in early March, the level of approval of such loans in banks fell by 88-100%. Buying a car on credit turned out to be virtually unrealistic. This happened both because of the increase in the cost of loans themselves against the backdrop of an increase in the key rate, and because of an increase in the cost of a car by at least 40% against the backdrop of a sharp drop in sales.
In such conditions, some dealers began to hide the real prices for the cars they sell on official websites.
Analysts believe that the incredible payments on auto loans are a consequence of the panic in the market, caused by the desire of customers to somehow save their money from inflation. At the same time, experts advise citizens not to make hasty decisions in conditions where the car loan payment is comparable to a mortgage, believing that this method of investment may not be the most productive and safe.
