In the Magadan region, companies are experiencing a shortage of petroleum, oil and lubricants and spare parts for heavy equipment. Currently, the availability of the necessary parts does not exceed 80%, follows from the message of the regional government. There is also an increase in the cost of transportation.

In addition, the cost of transportation has increased.

- The main delivery of fuels and lubricants and spare parts for heavy equipment took place in the autumn-winter period. The average level of provision for both criteria is 80%. Under the conditions of international economic sanctions, a shortage of parts due to the lack of domestic analogues is not ruled out. Also, the cost of Russian-made transport equipment (KAMAZ, Ural, UAZ) increased by 30%. All this together can lead to an increase in the cost of mining precious metals, the regional authorities said in a statement.

At the same time, the regional government believes that the industry will be able to achieve the targets. Governor Sergei Nosov pointed out that it was not realistic to “work from wheels” in Kolyma.

- Our subsoil users created a stock of spare parts last year and at the beginning of this year. I know that Magadan suppliers of heavy equipment have recently received a large batch of imported vehicles. We have no prerequisites for disrupting the gold mining season, - the head of the region pointed out.

The plan for this year assumes the extraction of gold in the amount of 52 tons, including 18.5 tons of alluvial gold. Now the pace of the industry is in line with the plan, in January-April, 0.17 tons of alluvial gold was mined.
