The Russian currency showed a sharp increase amid reports that the General Staff and commanders were instructed to begin the return of Russian troops to their permanent deployment points from April 23 after the exercises.

As of 14:30, the US dollar dropped to the level of 75.65 rubles, having lost 1.26%, and the euro - to 91.21 rubles, which is less than the indicator of the beginning of the day, by 1%. The Moscow Exchange and RTS indices are also growing: by 0.7% and by almost 2%. They managed to win back yesterday's fall in this way.

According to Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, the Russian troops involved in the exercises will return to their places of permanent deployment by May 1.
