According to Gazprom spokesman Sergey Kupriyanov, gas will continue to be pumped through Ukraine despite Russia's military special operation.

“Gas is coming”, - Kupriyanov said in an interview with TASS.

According to RIA Novosti, with reference to the operator of the GTS Operator of Ukraine, the application for the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine today has grown to 83.9 million cubic meters. At the same time, on February 22, the actual gas flow amounted to 50.3 million cubic meters, and on February 23, applications increased to 61 million cubic meters.

Meanwhile, Russia is conducting a military special operation in Ukraine, announced by President Vladimir Putin during an early morning address to the nation. The forces of the people's militia of the DPR and LPR went on the offensive. Information was received about the crossing of the border of Ukraine by the Russian military, including with the support of the armed forces of Belarus. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has declared martial law in the country.
