As reported by Izvestia, large enterprises from the spheres of culture and catering will be able to receive support within the framework of the program, as an exception.
According to preliminary estimates, next year, up to 20 billion rubles of additional funding will be needed for the implementation of the program, said Deputy Head of the Ministry of Economics Tatyana Ilyushnikova.
As a reminder, in February the Russian authorities were preparing new measures to support Russian entrepreneurs. The next package at that stage included, among other things, the restart of the business lending program for the payment of salaries at a zero rate. Earlier, business ombudsman Boris Titov asked the authorities to extend measures to support business until the end of this year. He sent a letter to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, indicating that 67% of Russian companies record a drop in demand for goods and services. Titov warned of the risk of a spike in bankruptcies and a further contraction in economic activity.
Already now, in view of the new announced lockdown, representatives of the restaurant business have asked the Moscow authorities to introduce support measures.
