The crane was thrown away at about 23:25 (16:25 Moscow time) on Thursday in Teplyakovsky Bay, the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office reports.
“Currently, two dead have been found, seven people were not injured, the rescue operation continues, there is no threat of the ship sinking and environmental pollution”, - the supervisory authority said.
The floating crane belongs to PJSC Slavyansk Shipyard.
Rescuers arrived at the scene, but their help was not required.
In total, 55 people suffered from the elements, some were operated on. The disaster affected 70 municipalities, over 150 people were left without electricity. The most difficult situation is noted in Nakhodka, where an emergency regime has been introduced, as well as in Shkotovsky, Partizansky, Nadezhdinsky, Khasansky districts, Artem and Vladivostok.
In the seaside capital, the hurricane peaked at 40 m / s, gusts of 43 m / s were periodically recorded.
Currently, the typhoon has lost its strength and went to the north of China.
