Six people saved from the rubble in the house after the explosion in Orekhovo-Zuevo

This was announced by the head of Orekhovo-Gennady Panin on the TV channel "Russia-24", reports "Interfax".

According to the updated data of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, three people were seriously injured in the explosion, one person died.

Meanwhile, search and rescue operations are continuing - there could be a lot of people under the rubble, said Sergei Poletikin, the head of the Emergencies Ministry headquarters near Moscow.

According to RIA Novosti, at the site of the explosion in Orekhovo-Zuevo, ten dog handlers work. Also, a fire crane was connected to the analysis of the rubble at the entrance collapse, reports 360 Channel. Work is underway to dismantle the floors.

As a result of the explosion that occurred in the apartment on the third floor of the five-story building in the middle of the day on April 4 in the town of Orekhovo-Zuevo, near Moscow, the entrance from the fifth to the third floors collapsed.

The cause of the explosion was a gas column, according to the Russian Emergencies Ministry, according to which 150 residents of the house were evacuated on their own, another 50 were evacuated by fire and rescue units along the flights of stairs.
