Two suspected of work for the Russian special services were detained in Ukraine

The National Police of Ukraine detained two Russians in Kiev.

They are suspected of having committed several serious crimes. Ukrainian law enforcement officials claim that both detainees were part of the armed forces and worked for the special services of the Russian Federation, and also participated in military conflicts of different countries.

Kiev is going to expel detainees from the country.

- The operatives of the strategic investigations department in Kiev received information that citizens of the Russian Federation who were planning a series of serious crimes arrived in the capital. According to reports, they were members of armed groups, worked for Russian special services and participated in military conflicts in different countries, the National Police report.

What kind of crimes the Russians committed are not said.

Before that, the Security Service of Ukraine announced the detention of a citizen, who, according to the agency, was the curator of the heads of the self-proclaimed Donetsk people's republic.

Let us recall that on July 6 in Moscow, former Ukrainian football player Vasily Vasilenko was detained for espionage.
