More than forty Chelyabinsk houses were left without heat in 30-degree frost

Early Tuesday morning, an accident occurred on a heating main in the Sovetsky district of Chelyabinsk, as a result of which nine social facilities and 41 residential buildings were cut off from heat supply.

ClimateThe accident happened at 4 am local time (at 2 am Moscow time). The temperature in the city has already dropped to -30 degrees.
The city government was forced to cancel primary school lessons. However, officials hope they can fix the problem by noon.
The head of the housing and communal services department of the city, Alexander Kochereschenko, and the head of the municipal unitary enterprise "Chelyabinsk Utilities Heating Networks" Roman Shershnev, went to the scene.
It's worth reminding that at the end of January, a communal accident in the Amur Blagoveshchensk brought the river over its banks.
