A mass shooting occured in a Kazan school, there are dead

Children were locked in offices, some of them jumped out of windows, local news agency inkazan.ru writes.

As the newspaper notes, one of the shooters left the school building, the other is still in it. According to TASS, one of the shooters is a teenager. He has already been detained. The publication reports one dead and one injured.

According to BAZA, the detained shooter is 19-year-old Ilnaz Renatovich Galyaviyev. He also said that he had planted a bomb at the address of his registration. Among the dead - seven eighth graders and one teacher, the newspaper notes.

Special services employees are already working on the spot, the circumstances of the incident are being investigated. Twenty ambulances were sent to the school. Children are being evacuated from the school. The Minister of Health of Tatarstan Marat Sadykov and the Prosecutor of the Republic Ildus Nafikov also went to the scene.
