An emergency regime has been introduced on the territory of the city of Usinsk in the Komi Republic. This is due to the oil spill, a rainbow film appeared on the Kolva River. This is stated on the website of the regional government.

According to the information, the city administration received a message about a possible oil spill on the evening of May 11. The task force that went to the scene confirmed the incident data. From 23:00 on May 11, an emergency regime was introduced - the corresponding decree was signed by the mayor of Usinsk Nikolay Takaeyv. The head of Komi, Vladimir Uyba, took control of the incident.

At present, SPASF "Priroda" is carrying out measures to contain the oil spill in the area of the first and fourth bridges. Experts have already managed to find out where the leak came from.

According to the Republican Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a rainbow film on the river was recorded 130 km from Usinsk. Management staff set up booms and monitor the river.

It should be reminded that an oil spill was already recorded in Usinsk last autumn. Then the emergency mode was also introduced. Oil entered the Komi territory along the Kolva River - the spill occurred at the Kharyaginskoye field in the Nenets Autonomous Territory.
