In Krasnoyarsk, they decided not to fine two girls for violating the self-isolation regime, who became the victims of sexual violence and robbery by a 56-year-old man. Previously, the protocols were drawn up on them, but later the police changed the decision to fine the girls.

As explained in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, neither the victims nor the attacker should have been at the scene of the incident, since a self-isolation regime was introduced in the city. However, later the administrative commission explained that it would not fine the girls who suffered from the striker, noted in the headquarters of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The incident took place in late April. Two girls 17 and 18 years old ran to a patrol car and reported that they had been robbed and raped by a man. Police detained the suspect shortly after. It turned out to be a previously convicted 56-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk. A criminal case was brought against him.

Earlier, the World Health Organization noted an increase in domestic violence during quarantines in all countries of Europe. In April alone, women began to go to emergency services 60% more often than a year earlier. The UN believes that if self-isolation is extended for another six months, the number of victims of domestic violence will increase to 30 million.
